  2. Emma McCulloch Says:

  6. babygboo Says:

i gave birth 4 months ago, and i still cant believe i did, it was hard, long (36hours), not fun and very sore… of course it was all well worth it i have a beautiful, healthy baby girl but i must say the nine months of been pregnant would put me off having another baby before the birth would… its not as bad as it seems or sure no 1 would have a second….

  7. tara Says:

    omg the baby looks dead

  8. Amanda Says:

Awww, I have given birth twice and its an amazing experience…PAINFUL…but amazing…lol!!!

  9. soon2bexpecting my first Says:

omg….it was amazing and beautiful most of all something new 4 me. But really did i see the nurse cut her vagina open more?

  10. soon2bexpecting my first Says:

although there could have been sound

  11. NaturalMomsrock Says:

Speaking from experience she was most likely not screaming…I had all three of my children naturally no drugs and never screamed there is no need to scream… it actually felt good when it was time to push, relief!!!

  12. kate Says:

I can honestly say i did not find this video that graphic or shocking! im preg for the 3rd time now and have never before seen a birth and knowing what she is actually going through makes it easier to watch, i had nothing more than gas to help me through both mine and for any first timers just watching that an freaking out, its really not that bad!

  13. Des Says:

i am 3 months pregnant & i am looking forward to the birth, but really scared. everyone says when u see your baby its worth it, i hope thats true.

  14. Tina Says:

There is no way in h— I am going to do that. C-section here I come. Props to those that are stronger then me for doing it. You are truely my heroes.

  15. Jessica Says:

I loved the child birth. I think it is amazing! However, watching some of the other videos…I have never seen the after birth! Now that looks horrible! I know it has to come out and most people say they don’t even notice it, because they are so happy and excited the new baby has arrived. I think that looks soooo scary! I can’t wait to have a baby one day. This is very educational and everyone should see something like this before they give birth!

  16. Ariana Says:

i didnt think it was graphic or anything it just seemed to take forever for them to grab the baby’s head and get it out that was the worse part

  17. Kiara Says:

I am 25 weeks pregnant, and I was already afraid of giving birth, and this video has made it worse. It was very informative though, and I know I can do it, I just have to have some type of pain medication. I’m scared as ever though…….lol

  18. beth Says:

  21. Chris Says:

What a gross thing to do.

  22. Celia Says:

There is no reason to scream? I had to push for three hours after I was fully dilated and I screamed at the top of my lungs every contraction for those three hours. I had a sore throat for a week afterwards.

  23. l'momma Says:

i LOVED this! I wished I had taped my sons… It’s really a magical exeriance… I would actually birth other’s babies I love it so much. It’s too hard to explain..yes, it hurts, but good and absolutley glorious hurt. It’s empowering. MY baby from MY body…Magical is the only word to describe it… I really think Labor is a gift from GOD :) feel free to leave crazy comments…

  24. l'momma Says:

TO ADD on to what i previously posted…I know some want to go the easiest way….but mama dont do it! lET YOUR BODY GO!….THE WAY SO MANY HAVE BEFORE.

  25. Courtney Says:

Wow I’m pregnant.and now just a lil scared!! But I know that it’s natural. Thank you for sharing your video it is vary helpful to expecting moms new moms and expecting dads

  26. Donovan (okc) Says:

all i got to say is that whenever i find the right one to have a baby with, and shes ready to give birth, i’ll probably be one of those dads that pass out when they see their child being born.

  27. Jessica Says:

my comment is that this wasn’t really a natural childbirth. the doctor was way to invasive with their hands. When I gave birth naturally in a hospital I yelled at the nurses and said this is just a spectator sport. do not touch me unless something is wrong. Fingiring ones vagina when pushing out a 8lb baby hurts more then the baby does!! I would of punched them!!

Also that kid looks dead really wish the video was longer….

  28. bluf Says:

this is sick and wrong. why would anyone ever have children, anyway?

  29. rosie Says:

Ok, Everyone who is freaked out about this – well you should be. It’s such an amazing thing. I’m a dad and I had never seen anything like this until I saw the real thing with my wife, and this is just exactly how it was. Relax, for one thing it will help you as the mom or dad and it will definitely help the precious little baby. It’s going to be ok. Trust that it will. At least trust in a maker who designed this process. Enjoy this time in your lives. Really enjoy it if you can. It’s beautiful.

  30. what. Says:

wait, a baby just came out of that woman! out of her vag! a whole baby! breathing and crying a everything!
    wow.

  31. Stephanie Says:

I’m due in 12 days and I swear to god if anyone sits here and messes with me that much not to mention tries to RIP AND PULL my baby out. I will kill them where they stand!!!

  32. Heather Says:

Um, Stephanie, sometimes they have to pull.

  33. Karen Says:

OMG, i feel a little bit sick!!! I realy hope im that brave when i have a baby!!! Im not a really maternal person and watched this because i thought it might inspire me!! But HELL NO!!!
I dont think ill ever be ready!! I dont like the way they kept poking her as jessica says, obviously if they have to poke and pull, by all means, but seriously dont add to the pain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know everyone says its fine and people have loads of kids, but it realy dosent convince me and it scares the hell out of me!!! What if you poo, is another thing that freaks me out!!!
I hope someone out there can convince me, i would love to have a family with my parther one day but i think im a lost cause!!!

  34. Paige Says:

Birth is such a beautiful thing really.
I can’t wait to have kids!
But honestly, I am NOT going to be able to do that naturally.
My mom did, with me and my two brothers, idk how she did it lol.

  35. Maggie Says:

The reason they are holding her vagina during crowning is to prevent tearing. Midwives routinely hold the perineum to prevent tearing and I’m assuming the nurse saw some reason to do that at the front of the vagina, not sure. The baby was so blue because the umbilical cord was wrapped around its neck, which happens in about one third of all births and is not a crisis most of the time. I didn’t see the episiotomy someone else mentioned, but you need to be sure they don’t cut your vagina more. Have a birth plan that lets them know not to do that.

Natural childbirth is the way to go!

  36. Sareighna Says:

I recently gave birth to my son Zakya and I had a completely natural childbirth like this one. I have never experienced so much pain in my life. I admit, I did scream. But my son was 10lbs. 7 oz. and 22 inches long when he was born and I’m only 5’1 and I weighed 140 when I went into labor with him. They had to cut me and cut me bad.

  37. courtney Says:

i am 27 weeks pregnant with baby #2 my 1st pregnancy i went through labor without any drugs i did it all natural. planning on doing the same with this baby too

  38. Ursula Says:

I’m 19 weeks and gave birth naturally the first time round. Must say I don’t have the guts to do it again. Think it will be C-Section for me the 2nd time round. Agree with the lady that said the 9 months of pregnancy is MUCH worse than the birth though….

  39. gemma Says:

im 33 weeks pregnant with my 2nd baby, i had a c-section with my my 1st (6 years ago and it was an emergency, and i didnt labour at all)) and dr’s are persuading me to try a vaginal birth this time, after watching this video i really think i want to give it a go, at the end of the day if i cant handle the pain, i can have pain relief. i was terrified of giving birth, but now, i know i can do this its the most natural, beautiful experience ever xx i cant wait xx

  40. Lindsay Says:

You can’t choose to have a c-section, only when the child needs to be delivered NOW, will they perform one. The womens body was created to carry and birth babies. The vagina was not made for sex only! A child is a gift and any women that does not want to get stretched out or something like that doesn’t deserve a child.

  41. jessica h Says:

holy shit it really takesthat long… oww i cant imagine im soooo screwed

  42. Branan Says:

    i had a baby 2 months ago.it hurt a lot!when i had sex i knew i was getting a baby.they cut my vagina!my husband wasn’t there because he was sleeping.MY VAGINA STILL HURTS!

  43. Jem Says:

@ Lindsay – January 18th, 2010 at 9:55 pm. Um, kiss my ass! Of course a child is a gift, but to say that a women who doesn’t want to get stretched (/torn apart) doesn’t deserve a child is a bit harsh. Don’t be such a judgemental hippy and worry about your own vag eh, rather than anyone elses.

Im due in 6 weeks and wish I hadn’t watched this.

  44. Jenni Says:

I really have to say that this probably looks worse to women who haven’t had kids than to those that have already. I’m up to our third child and I can watch this with total anticipation! I had two natural births and they were so good. Don’t focus on pain… you know there will be some, focus on your baby coming and pay attention to your body, you’ll be amazed at how awake you’ll feel when it’s all over and how strong you’ll feel for accomplishing something so special :) Be excited! You’re about to meet the person YOU created! :D
    xx J

  45. Jenni Says:

Oh, and someone said “Gravity is Law” … SO true! Bend over something while kneeling and this will be over in a jiffy! ;)
    xx J

  46. gemma Says:

Hello there,i had my daughter 8 months ago with gas and air and honestly its not as bad as it looks.Dont get me wrong it hurts but it looks more painful than it is!And to the woman who said you dont need to scream i think you do,my midwife was telling me to be as vocal as i could because you push harder and to be honest i wasnt screaming in pain it was just the intensity of the urge to push kinda making you(does that make sense?)The contractions are the worst bit pushing actually comes as a relief(well it did to me).So all you first time mums who have just freaked out like i did when i watched one as i was due to give birth, dont,it is amazing what your body can handle and do.And whats a few hours of sweating and pushing compared to a lifetime of love?Your body takes over and mother nature knows what shes doing!! :)

  47. Jennifer Says:

Me and my husband r trying to have a baby but after watching this video being a vergin is ok 4 me

  48. Renee Says:

OMG I am 24 weeks and now I am scared.

  49. shirmika rice Says:

Thats doctor had no i dea what he/she was doing. Why would he keep literally pushing the baby back in and he kept touching the babys head too, also he kept touching around the baby on her virgina . Thats the worst birth i ever seen in my lifetime. Im 14 and i could have delivered thats baby better.

  50. Jade Says:

I imagine the birth was so invasive as they are using this video as a learning aid. Some people here have made really childish and stupid remarks. One said this was sick and wrong? Uh hello…were you delivered by a STORK? Child birth is amazing full stop. For all you soon to be moms trust me, this is THE most incredible thing you will ever do in your entire life!! I am trying for another baby this year and I cannot wait to experience pregnancy and labour again. Remember….we are made to have babies…its the most natural thing a woman can do. And Shirmika….you are clueless to what is going on here….I suggest you come back to this site when you are older and understand what goes in in DELIVERY!!!

  51. Angelica Says:

    Ouch.. but what a result!

Lindsay, you should be ashamed of yourself. If a woman chooses to have a c-section it is her absolute right – a c=section isn’t an ‘easy’ option either as the recovery is so much longer and carries its own risks. She ‘deserves’ her baby just as much as a woman who decides to have a completely natural birth or one who decides on using pain relief.

Women are under enough pressure in life without the judgement from other women. We each take our own journey and it should be done with the support of our sisters and not condemnation.

Bravo to all those mothers out there who have given life, regardless of how your baby emerged into the world!

  52. Danielle Says:

I love how people are shocked when they see this video. It’s like uhh yeah what did you think child birth was lmao Not looking forward to the pain but can’t wait for babies someday

  53. Janice Says:

I dont think Lindsay was saying anyone that chooses a c section doesnt deserve a child. She was saying that you cant just walk in and say you dont want to push the kids out, just cut me. The doctors dont give you that choice.
I have two beautiful children. One nineteen years old and one twenty one years old. I had them both natural. The doctor didnt give me the option of pain meds. Military hospital. They just didnt give me anything for pain. And to this day I still remember the pain, I love my kids, wouldnt trade them for the world, but that pain is one of the reasons I got my tubes tied at two. LOL. I raised them to be wonderful caring responsible adults. But No Way would I ever do that again. And contrary to what some people are saying, I loved being pregnant. I never felt better, more energy, no morning sickness, No weird cravings, It was great. If I didnt have to go through the end pain, I would have stayed pregnant forever. If you walk alot during pregnancy it shortens the labor time. First one was two hours. Second one was twenty minutes. I walked everywhere. Thank God my doctor told me that little secret.

  54. Leah Says:

wow, one of the reasons i would like to be a boy. must be lovely to be able to hold your baby in your arms at the end of it though, brill video and what a beautiful baby!

  55. younglady Says:

im 17 and i just had a baby. i however, had an epidural. it kinda made it harder to push and to know when to push. but i have to say it is WAY worse watching the delivery than giving birth. my boyfriend is forever mortified by how much bigger the head was than he expected. granted i had a lot of pain drugs and my active labor was only about 2 hours, it really wasnt that bad of an experience. getting my tears stitched up hurt way worse than actually delivering. after the head comes out the rest comes out really fast. and the afterbirth comming out feels really weird. like passing a really slippery water balloon

  56. arealle griggs Says:

that is crazy im very freaked out this is my first baby and im 17 im having a girl august/21/10 and im scared

  57. Jasmine lumber Says:

I gave birth 7 months ago to a beautiful 8lb 9 boy. The experiance of it all is amazing but I don’t think I’d like to do it all over again. Once is enough for me and I was only 17 at the time! But it was way worth it. Now I’m with my gorgeous little boy. Very surprised I managed to give birth on just gas and air! And it was fairly quick too, 10 hours. Went rather fast which was good for me! :) But to be honest. The stiches I had afterwards were more painful than the birth part!!!

  58. Megan Davidson Says:

my birth of twins was a beautiful esperience, it was very painful. at some times i just wanted to disapear from my body and go into someone elses, and sometimes i felt i was helpless, the pain is so bad you can;t even imagine it.

  59. kESHIA Says:
